1969 Reliant Regal 21E

My 1969 reliant Regal 21E

Exactly what makes a relatively normal (well, lots of my friends would argue that...) guy buying a three wheeler?

One argument would of course be the fact that three wheels cost less then four wheels, but for me the true answer is 'just for fun'.

Ever since I nearly bought a Bond Bug (wife said 'no, no, no') in august 2002, I've wanted something strange. After putting out a 'wanted ad' just vefore Christmas 2002, I got a mail from a guy in Rotingham, UK, informing me of his 1969 Reliant Regal 21E for sale.
Having bought a Lotus Europa unseen from USA, I was a bit sceptical to buying another car unseen, so I arranged for the seller to send me a video showing the car being driven - and lots of shots from all over the car.

The car looked well, and we agreed a deal.

About a week later the car arrived at my place.
Unfortunately things was very busy at work - so I just pushed the car into the garage. And; things has really been busy ever since...
But; I've had time to charge the battery, had a few testdrives, and fixed some minor problems. the car is now ready for registration; I'll just have to find time for this...

As I haven't found any web-site stating the techical data on these cars, I'll try to make my own tech-page. Click here to get to the tech-part.
