How I got the car, and how the ad was:
I bought this car from Mr Tim Wood of Liverpool on April 30th, 2007.
The car was brought home to Norway on Monday July 2nd. I drove it
from the harbour of Brevik, to mygarage, some 180 great kilometres. Fun behind
every corner, and a lot of big-eyed fellow drivers on the road.
This car is supposed to be one of the earliest Adams GTs with steel
chassis, VIN nr 3M/5447.
Not quite in original shape, upgraded with a later LM type rear spoiler,
as well as a front spoiler, a sunroof and flared wings. But, it makes this
car stand out from the other 3.0 V6, and it is easy to recognize. The car
is also fitted with the Type 9 5-speed gearbox. It has uprated brakes,
uprated suspension and CD stereo.
The rear wheel arches have been flared and then blended to the shape
of the original wheel arches. The one feature that many feel should have
been done when it was originally designed. It is also the only one to have
this feature.

This car is an original 1969 and is not a modern sports car. It has the
usual issues associated with a 38 year old classic car. It is also very loud
so the neighbours may dislike when she is started up early....
From my short testdrive in Liverpool, the car both looks, sounds and
handle very well. The car has since then gotten a new exhaust manifold,
new frontwheel bearings and a new speedo cable.
Driving the car 180 km from the harbour to my home provide a lot of fun,
and a spectacular noise. This is not ment for early takeoffs to work; guess
al the neighbours will be pretty angry after being waked up a 6AM every day...
The car was sent from Liverpool to Immingham, from there it was shipped by
boat to Brevik, Norway. This is where I picked it up, and drove it some 150
km to my garage.
The car was registered for roaduse on August 13th,2007.
Now I am driving around, smiling, and finding a few faults that need to be
corrected.
