1974 Jaguar XJ6-L


This is a genuin 1974 S2 Jaguuar XJ6L, 4.2 litre stright six (the proven, good 'ol XK-engine).
The car is a LongWheelBase car, and there are plenty of legroom for the back-seat passengers.



The car once belonged to norwegian shippingcompany owner Wilhelmsen.

The most recent owner has had the car for 13 years, and it has been very well maintained. A few rust sports have been discovered, but nothing more than a couple of hours welding will fix.

The full leather interior is a bit torn, but afterall it is more than 30 years old.  Perhaps I'll give it a refurbishment one beautiful day, we'll see.

The car is supposed to be factory fitted with a sunroof, and will be used for  pleasure driving only.

The car was stripped and repainted in 1993.
Engine was rebuilt in 2001
New frontbrakes was fitted last year, with a new front suspension
Rear brakes was chenged in 2004
