It won't start..
For now I am struggelig with the Elan +2S, which had a head job during
the summer. It was hard to start it when assembling it a month ago, and
now the winter has come...
So, no more Lotus work on this side of easter vacation...

A frustrating year.
Car should be finished by the garage before summer, then something
turned up, don't remember what..
Then the garage owner was occupied with preparing some race cars he
is running, which took most of the summer. During the autumn he started
working on the car again. He told me everything is finished, everything
works, except...
When cranking the engine, petrol pours out from the carburator instead
of into the engine...
And the gearbox is locked (this was overhauled by a man who died a
couple of years ago...).
So, car is now put to storage somwhere at the garage, but Henrik has
promised he will start working on the car again so it will be finished
next summer. It has taken 10 years by then...

Henrik mailed to say that the car was ready, but he wanted to examine
it really closely.
This
in order to try to find minor faults and things I might not have done perfect.
Very fine for me, then I know the car will be perfect when it returns some
time in a few months.
