Late October 2007
The Europa was delivered to Mr Henrik Persson of Norsk Chassis Teknikk in the city Drammen three weeks ago, in order for him to finish it for me. He is son of Ove Persson, well known in the Lotus world in Europe.
I spoke to Henrik a few days ago; the car was nearly ready for a test start, and Henrik was about to do the finale adjustement to front/rear-suspension and gear linkage before he thought the car was ready ;-)
I very soon have a driveable Europa ,-) After only 9 years of slow progress...


Late July  2007
Done some small work, fitting LOTUS letters and EUROPA badge, as well as the lock to the front- and rear-bonnet.

Have also taken a very important decision;
I'll let a restoration garage finish the car for me. This is the only way I can see it finished...
I'll deliver the car to them in late September, and they'll use a week or two to finish it off for me. Than hopefully I'll find time to register and test the car before winter comes...


May 8th, 2007
Finally took time to fit the petrol filler neck hose, and then used some time to figure out how the Weber carb was to be fitted - as well with the throttle cable as the clutch cable. I didn't succeed completely, and have some question to you wise guys.
Please take a look here, and help me out with the choke cable....

Spent  last Saturday adjusting the right hand side door, so it matched the locking mechanism in the door arch, and closes nicely.

Well, the last two days of 2006 saw me working some hours in the garage, and I thought that I could do no worse than start the new year the same way.
though not so much time spent, I fitted the Sebring mirrors to the car today.
