Mid November, 2005
Awaiting winter, I spent one afternoon in the garage.
I found the old headlamp bazels in a closet (!), merged them to two new grommets and light units, and fitted them to the Europa. Nice ;-)

September 29th, 2005
Time had come to fit the new frontscreen, delivered by the local carwindow pusher.
But first I had to do the job to make the new roof lining. Spent the whole evening before in the garage, and got an acceptable result.

The day for the front window job came, and two men showed up. They spent 15 minutes looking at the car, telling me how low it is, and that it sure is fun to drive. I could of course only agree, and finally they went to work. Put on one side seal, and then they would try-fit the window. But; it was 2cm too narrow for the car!
When comparing the new screen to the old one, it was obviously that the new window would never fit.
So; back home with the lads, trying to get hold on a correct window for me. And I still don't have any frontwindow in my Europa. But; now at least I have a complete  roof  inside the car ;-)
I could of course put in the old window, but it has a lot of scratches...
UPDATE:  Correct window has arrived at the carwindow shop, and we are setting up a new date to fit it

June 5th, 2005
Did some paint removal where it was bad-painted two years ago.
Also mounted the heater-regulator, and fitted the tunnel cover. It really looks like a car now ;-)

April 17th, 2005
On my youngest son's 10th birthday, I did a try fitting of the carpets bought from Chris Neil Ltd, UK.
I would be a big lie to say that the carpets fitted right in, but you may click here to see how it went.

Closer to the road!
Spent some hours in the garage this afternoon. Fitted the newly renovated radiator, removed the dash...mounted the heater - back in with the dash...
Also fitted all loose cables to the fuse box, thanks to everyone sending me pictures to explain how the cables should be mounted.
I also mounted new rear numberplate lights, as well as a thorough wash of the facia and heater elements.
Still a long way to go, but I'm closer to the road!

February/early March,2005
Ordered more parts from Paul Matty and Christopher Neil, both UK.
Recived lots of relays, hinges, gaskets, and a new carpet set. Now I have to wait for temperature to raise before I can do more work, it's freezing cold outside...

January 1st, 2005
Happy New Year to you all.
I've spent most of the day in the garage, fitting more parts to the beautiful thing looking more and more like a car. Done some electrical works as well.
But, I have lots of question regarding the new loom, fittong of relays etc. Please click here to be taken to the detail page from today, and also read my questions.
